​Okinawa Japan, and Kuwait.

Following his honorable discharge from the military, he proposed to his lovely wife Ebony. Joel and Ebony met while they worked on the same construction site during his apprentice days. They began a friendship that would later blossom into marriage.

Transitioning out of military life, Pastor Joel was set on helping his Father with the ministry. Shortly after being married He and his wife became saved on the very same day. Joel quickly took to the books as years of past training eased him into his own walk in the faith.  After 3 years Joel was recognized as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. A few years later and following multiple confirmations he was ordained as an elder and designated as Pastor. 

Pastor Joel has an authentic zeal for the Word, and a personal motto of “No Hype, All Passion".

Pastor Joel L. Polk

Born on February 2 1980, in Orlando, Florida, Joel L. Polk is the youngest Child of Bishop John A. and Elect Lady Catherine Polk. They raised him in the church exemplifying precisely what they preached.  Growing up Joel was an avid lover of Basketball, art and music. As he entered his high school years he also went to Mid Florida Tech where he learned the trade of electrician. He later worked as an electrical apprentice during the last year and-a-half of school.

 

Shortly After graduating from Cypress Creek High School, he decided to leave home and joined the United States Marine Corps. There he served for 8 years ultimately achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.  His service time included two tours to Fallujah Iraq, and other deployments to places such as Korea, Egypt,
